Municipality of Rauch

It is a true palace in the Art Deco style in its monumental classical aspect, the work of Engineer Francisco Salamone. It was inaugurated in 1938 and is currently considered National Historical Heritage. Framed by three squares, it stands out for its rigorous and striking geometry and for a high central tower with a clock that formerly told the time to the entire town.

House of Culture

The Municipal Museum of Plastic Arts "Faustino Jorge Bonadeo" was founded on September 11, 1998 and bears the name of the first director of the Municipal Commission in 1962, the date on which it was formed. It fulfills and has fulfilled the purposes that motivated its foundation; promote cultural development and artistic taste in the community. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, poetry recitals, concerts, choral proposals and other artistic expressions or municipal events are exhibited.

Old Usina Cultural Center

The Old Usina building was built in 1919, and served generating electricity until 1965.

After years of abandonment and already in the hands of the state, the Municipal Government restored the building putting it at the service of cultural activities.

Today the building, historical-architectural heritage, is another socio-cultural space for the community, making up the historical-cultural circuit of the city.

Eustoquio Diaz Velez Municipal Hospital

Inaugurated to the public in 1925, the General Eustoquio Díaz Vélez Municipal Hospital is a large building with geometric silhouettes and straight planes in the classic Art-Decó style, built by Engineer Francisco Salamone and thanks to a Commission made up of various families and politicians who received the contribution of a popular collection.

St. Peter the Apostle Parish

La  Parroquia  " San Pedro Apóstol " es la  iglesia  de Rauch, levantada en_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ 1875 , belonged to the  Diocese  of Buenos Aires. De  1882  a  1892 , la primera  parroquia , fue totalmente destruida por un incendio.

In July de  1902  the new building was inaugurated, built by engineer José Zeni. It has a wide central nave and two side ones, a main altar and five side altars. The temple was fully restored: stained glass, paintings, etc. Un magnífico  órgano  de 1554 tubos, construido en  Italia , fue inaugurado el 29 de enero de  1924  and constitutes the largest of the   Diocese of Azul ; unique in its style.

Water Directorate

Formerly called Obras Sanitarias, here are the offices of the Water Directorate, and the general Water Tank that supplies the entire city with drinking water.

The Rauch Waste Recycling Unit was founded in 1998 and it arose thanks to the problems and impacts that the population's waste generated in the environment.
